This policy explains what personal information buybattery.net collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to the website and to orders placed with us on WhatsApp.
What we collect
When you order or ask for a price, we usually collect your name, phone number, delivery address, and the details of the battery or vehicle you asked about. If you pay by bank transfer we see the payment reference and the name on the transfer. We do not store card numbers or CVV codes, because we do not process card payments on this website.
When you browse the site, our hosting and analytics tools may record your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you opened and how long you stayed. This is aggregate traffic data and we use it to see which products people look for and where the site is slow.
Why we use it
Your contact details and address exist in our records so we can quote a price, dispatch your battery, arrange the courier or rider, take payment, and handle a warranty claim later. Your purchase record is what lets us confirm your warranty period years after the sale, so we keep it.
We do not sell your data. We do not pass your number to marketing lists or lead sellers.
Who we share it with
Your name, phone number and address go to the courier or delivery rider who brings your order, because there is no other way to deliver it. Order details may go to a manufacturer or distributor when we file a warranty claim for you. We may share information if a court or a government authority in Pakistan lawfully requires it.
Conversations on WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, which we do not control. Please do not send us copies of your CNIC, bank statements or other sensitive documents unless we specifically ask for them for a warranty or payment issue.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep basic functions working and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
How long we keep it
Order and warranty records are kept for as long as the warranty on the product can be claimed, plus the period any tax or accounting rule requires. Price inquiries that never turned into orders are cleared out periodically.
Your choices
Message us on 03192070022 to ask what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete your details. We will delete what we are not required to keep. If you want to stop receiving messages from us, reply STOP and your number is removed.
Children
This site is meant for adults making a purchase. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, the updated version goes on this page with a new date at the top.
